Boarding for Dogs

Boarding Service for Dogs

Although Kamp K-9's facility had to close due to a new landlord taking over, Sue is currently watching your furry family members at her home in the Applewood Heights area of Mississauga (Tomken/Bloor/Dixie/Dundas area).  It is a semi-detached bungalow (one level) and there is a dog run and a fully fenced backyard.  I have cozy carpet and a sectional and lots of different sized dog beds for them to choose from (unless you bring your own of course).  Lots of walks too, depending on weather conditions.  Until we find a new location, this can be their home away from home.

Although some newer facilities in northern Ontario and the United States state that “cage free” dog boarding is the way to go, we at Kamp K-9 know that dogs still prefer to have that “den" feeling of being safe.

  • able to eat their food without looking over their shoulders for other dogs (predators in their eyes)
  • able to sleep peacefully without having to keep one eye and one ear open for what really are “strangers” to them (both staff and other dogs).

Kamp K-9 "rooms" and "feeding zones" were specifically designed to help dogs relax and feel comfortable in their environment.

Boarded dogs are invited to come out during the day to play with Kamp K-9 daycare dogs. Rover always goes back to his special room at feeding times.

Our boarded and daycare dogs are free to run around during the day and are taken outside on numerous occasions throughout the day to get fresh air, sunshine and the essential Vitamin “D” that we all need.

We supervise all pets 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. Furry family members always have someone to talk to.

We always recommend you bring your dog’s own food to help alleviate any possible stomach upset (it is already a big deal that they are away from home), however, we do have food on hand should your supply run out before your return.  Also, feel free to bring your dog's favourite bed or blanket to help make them feel more at home.

“Regular” Kampers receive preferred pricing on future visits along with extra savings/rewards for referrals. Learn more
