Kamp K-9 has been given an actual Closing Date of May 31st, 2019. In the meantime, Sue will watch the dogs at her home in the Applewood area of Mississauga (Bloor/Tomken/Dixie/Dundas area). This does not give us alot of time to find a new location or move our stuff into storage (whichever comes first) but we are not giving up! Well, darn - the pandemic happened and we are still going to look for a new location and let you know as soon as we find one.
Our staff and friends and family and supporters are working diligently to help us find a new home as well as pack items that we can move as soon as possible. Our wonderful staff and our amazing trainers have advised they will follow us wherever we go and our clients have been advising us they will do the same. We are deeply grateful for everyone's support!
We are still having the "Running of the Pugs" event on Sunday, May 5th, 2019 from 1pm to 3pm. Cost is $7.00 per human - dogs are free. There will be door prizes, raffles and race prizes and of course any donations to the Pug Rescue would be greatly appreciated. All Pugs (and Pug wannabees and their humans) are invited to attend. There is ample parking on the north side of the parking lot available, leaving the front parking area for "Accessible" and drop-off and pick-up clients. Thank-you.
We will be keeping our phone lines open, answering calls and picking up messages from it for any inquiries you may have and will return your calls. Please stay tuned to our website, newsletter and social media pages for updates on our progress to find our new forever-home.
Thank-you for your support.
